I loved them when they were new and I still think they look great now. Aggressive and ahead of its time in aerodynamics.More people stop and want to talk about this bike than the ZX14R that I ride. In fact, after cleaning I can just sit and admire its looks and that is after owning one since 1995.
Comfort

Ride all day, no problem. Have a coffee and you are ready for another 200 miles. I rarely carry a passenger but when I have they have said that they tend to slide forward a little on the rear seat.
Performance

Fastest bike in the world for 7 years. What more is there to say. 180mph idf fast no matter how old the bike is. The engine is fantastic with a unique sound. This is one of the few bikes where the standard exhaust system is great as it is and also completes the looks. Handling is a little slow but rotate the chain adjusters and fit progressive front springs and it transforms the turn in. Can hang with the best on the corners and beats most in the straight line GP.
Durability

Generally the engine are typically Kawasaki which means they are reliable. There were some issues on the C model with the gearchange and Conrod No3 on the D models. Most C models have been sorted by now and those D models impacted by the oil pathway issue have been dealt with by now

Any bike of this size is more expensive to run than other machines. It is simple to carry out the servicing on these machines but parts can be a bit pricey.
I am biased having a website and YouTube channel dedicated to the ZZR 1100 but I will make no apologies for that. One odf the great machines. If you have not ridden one and you can ride a fast bike with electronics and ABS to save you, ride one and you will understand what the ZZR 1100 manic grin is.
